Tina Cervasio is one of the most recognizable and versatile sports journalists in the largest media market in the United States today. The New Jersey native is a two-time Emmy Award winner as part of the MSG Network New York Knicks Broadcast. Cervasio currently serves as the sideline and feature reporter for all home and road Knicks games, pre and post-game shows and additional Knicks programing. Also, Cervasio is the pre-game and halftime host and reporter for the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer, contributes to broadcasts and in-arena presentations for the New York Liberty and other MSG sports programming, as well as handling reporting and anchor duties on FOX 5 for their Emmy-winning “Good Day New York” and “Sports Extra” television shows. Tina also picks up National Network assignments, including NFL on FOX sideline reporting and NBA TV, reporting on the Knicks.   Cervasio joined MSG in 2008 as an anchor on the daily sports and entertainment news show “MSG,NY”, and has also hosted the weekly show "Fans' Most Wanted: Knicks", which takes an in-depth look at classic Knicks games, memorable players, and intense rivalries. Prior to returning to New York, the University of Maryland graduate was the Field Reporter for the Boston Red Sox, on the New England Sports Network (NESN), where she reported live from the field in-game and for both the pre and post- game shows from 2006 to 2008 and garnered a host of Emmy nominations for her work as well as a personalized 2007 World Series Ring. Before her time with NESN, Cervasio was a sports anchor and reporter on WCBS-TV (Ch. 2 New York), and appeared on national programs as a reporter or anchor on NBC Sports, NFL Sunday Ticket, and Animal Planet. In addition to her TV work, Tina has done extensive work in radio and production, including play-by-play for women’s hockey and gymnastics at the Torino and Athens Olympics on Westwood One Radio, and 20/20 Updates on air for WFAN Radio in New York. Outside of sports broadcasting, Cervasio spends her time on various charities and speaking engagements. Most notable, running the ING New York City Marathon twice (2008 & 2009) to raise money for Madison Square Garden’s non-profit charity, Garden of Dreams Foundation, that “makes dreams come true for kids facing obstacles” in the tri-state area. In 2009, Tina was the Mistress of Ceremonies for the Inaugural MSG Partners Summit, organized by the President of MSG Sports, Scott O’Neil. She has also been actively involved and frequently serves as an M.C. within a host of highly successful charity programs ranging from the Jimmy Fund, Special Olympics Massachusetts, the Allan Houston Legacy Foundation, Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation, UNICO, Maryland in Manhattan, among many others. One of the most sought-after speakers in the area because of her diverse journalistic background, Cervasio has addressed students and young people from high school to graduate school on the world of journalism, social media and the entertainment industry. She is a frequently requested guest at colleges ranging from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business to Rutgers and Princeton University and is a regular panelist at schools like St. John’s and Fordham University speaking to their sports journalism programs, among other schools. She is also an active member of WISE (Women in Sports and Events); and AWSM, Association for Women in Sports Media. Tina resides in New Jersey with her husband, Kevin McKearney.
